Lao Ford City Funds Health Poverty Action
December 12th, 2018 Vientiane – On behalf of Ford Motor Company, Lao Ford City is financially supporting Health Poverty Action (HPA) with funds as part of the Ford Conservation & Environmental grants program in Laos.
HPA works to strengthen poor and marginalized people in their struggle for health, and brings health care to communities otherwise forgotten.
The funds from Lao Ford City will go towards training, health development and poverty reduction initiatives for people living in rural areas of Khammouane Province. œIn the wake of the recent floods in Khammouane Province, access to health care is essential. Health Poverty Action is instrumental in contributing to the wellbeing of the province, and with local communities close to our heart, Lao Ford City is proud to support the organization’s work, said Chakkaphonh Malabandith, Sales and Operation Manager, RMA Group Laos Ford City.
