RMA Myanmar Gives Back to the Community
August 7th, 2019 Yangon – A simple act of kindness can save lives. To help ensure nurses and doctors have enough donated blood to continue delivering life-saving work, RMA Myanmar organized a blood drive at the National Blood Center in Yangon.
40 staff members contributed 18,000cc of blood, which was delivered to the National Blood Donation Room. It will be used to treat patients in need, ranging from accident victims to those with life-threatening illnesses.
œBlood donors play a critical role in the medical world and there are a number of patients who rely on lifesaving blood. RMA Myanmar is always ready to lend our community a helping hand. We’re proud of our people for donating blood to help ensure hospitals have the resources to meet patients in need. Together, we can amplify awareness on the need for blood donors and transform lives, stated Honey Linn, HR and Administration Manager, Human Resources, RMA Myanmar.
Staff who volunteered received a credential certificate directly from the National Blood Center. RMA Myanmar’s goal is to continue supporting patients in need by hosting blood drives throughout the year.
