Eleventh Dairy Queen Store Breaks Opening Day Sales Records
April 5th, 2019 Siem Reap – Dairy Queen just added a new venue under its belt. This time, the beloved American ice cream and quick food restaurant opened its eleventh store in Cambodia at The Heritage Walk, Siem Reap, just a stone’s throw away from the Unesco World Heritage Site, Angkor Wat.
Always keeping customers top of mind, Dairy Queen ran an irresistible promotion of 1,000 free ice cream cones, on a first come first serve basis. The delicious American hot dogs and Blizzards that were being served inside kept more people coming. The team also organized fun games for all, from an ice-cream eating contest and a hotdog eating contest to an ice cream cake show.
œWe are extremely proud to be introducing another Dairy Queen branch in Siem Reap. Fans have been coming to our stores across the country, and we couldn’t be happier to bring them another location closer to the Unesco World Heritage Site, Angkor Wat, said Tep Virak, General Manager of EFG Cambodia.
The new branch proved to be Dairy Queen Cambodia’s most popular one yet. The Heritage Walk Dairy Queen broke opening day sales records of all Dairy Queen branches in Cambodia since it began operations in 2010. The record-breaking sales are a harbinger of great things to come.
