AVIS Delivers Special Training Courses to Metfone
October 1st, 2019 Phnom Penh – AVIS, the largest car rental company in Cambodia, delivered ˜Defensive Driving’ and ˜Private Vehicle Insurance Policy’ training courses to 120 drivers from Metfone, the country’s largest roaming network and AVIS’ biggest client.
AVIS rolled out one course per week throughout September, with 30 participants joining each course.
Delivered through a mix of classroom and hands-on learning, the courses raised awareness of driver risks plus offered safe driving tips and techniques ranging from vehicle inspection to speed control, in order to help prevent traffic injuries. The half-day training session also addressed insurance policies to help drivers understand more about insurance coverage and claiming processes.

Avis Cambodia has been implementing this training program to its main clients since 2016. The courses enhance the customers driving experience and contribute to the reduction in traffic accidents.
