Minecorp Australia Celebrates Movember in the Name of Men’s Health

November 29^th, 2019 Brisbane- Minecorp Australia held its fifth annual Movember event, which involves growing moustaches during the month of November to raise funds and awareness for men’s health issues, such as prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and mental health.

 

A team of thirteen took on the challenge and Minecorp matched every donation, dollar for dollar. A mini in-house competition was set up to encourage donations. Prizes were on offer for the first, second and third highest earners, plus a special prize for the Most Glorious Moustache (MGM).

 

The goal for this year’s Movember challenge was to beat last year’s donations. The crew went above and beyond, overshooting the projected amount by more than AUD $1500, with a total of AUD $7880 raised. These funds were then donated to men’s health projects across Sydney.

 

This was all made possible by the Minecorp team, who all came out to support their peers taking part in the Movember challenge.
