Capital Automotive Ford and JLR Roadshow at Myanmar Plaza

Yangon, July 26th, 2020 – Ford Myanmar and JLR strategically took over the entire Myanmar Plaza ground floor display area and staged side by side roadshows, over the weekend of 25-26 July. It was the first time that Ford and JLR were back in the highly sought after Myanmar Plaza venue since the easing of lockdown regulations in Myanmar. Ford displayed a Ranger Wildtrak, two Everests and an EcoSport on the spacious display area which allowed for ample social distancing and a good flow of customer traffic. One of each Ford model was also available for test-drives which the team coordinated on test-drive route outside  the mall. Ford sweetened the deal with enticing special promotions including free accessories and a four times free service packages.

JLR presented the Jaguar F-Type and New Jaguar XE as well as the New Land Rover Discovery Sport, Range Rover Velar and Range Rover Evoque. JLR also ran test drives which significantly boosted interest in the roadshow. Special offers included available and hard to get hold of YGN license plates, 24 hour roadside assistance package and up to USD5,000 cash back.Foot traffic was high, with multiple leads generated by both Ford and JLR. In all, Ford sold an impressive 38 units and JLR sold 4 units with one order for the soon to be launched All-New Defender. The roadshow was a resounding success considering the foot traffic of well over 30,000  visitors and a good number of hot leads.
