Ford Cambodia Hand Over Vehicles to Ford Technical Training Center and NPIC Institute
Phnom Penh, February 22nd, 2021, Ford Cambodia celebrate the handover ceremony of two Ford Ranger Wildtrak vehicles and Ford Technical Training Center to the National Polytechnic Institute of Cambodia (NPIC). The event was attended by 700 participants including RMA staff, NPIC staff, NPIC students, government officers and journalists. During the event Ngorn Saing, CEO RMA Cambodia, H.E. Bun Phearin, Principal NPIC Institute, and H.E. Pok Pan, Secretary of State Labor and Vocational Training addressed the attendees. The delegates visited the facilities in the Ford Technical Training Center and our professional technicians presented them with functions of each facility.
This donation project was initiated in 2019, and since we have donated Ford Ranger Pick Up and a Tractor to ITI School. Moreover, in 2020 and 2021 we plan to donate 10 units Ford Ranger Wildtrak to ITI (handed over in August 2020), 2 units to National Polytechnic Institute of Cambodia (handed over in February 2021), 2 units to Battambang Institute of Technology (BIT), 2 Units to National Polytechnic Institute Angkor. There will also be upgraded training, learning materials, repair tools, and other equipment provided to the institutes.
The purpose of this donation is to provide training and capacity building to all students that study technical skills at all Technical Schools under the Ministry of Labor and Vocational Training as well as other Technical School Nationwide. Students will be educated on Ford Safety, Technology, and Technical Skills of Ford After Sales. We also offer exchange programs and internships at Ford Service Center, as well as other workshops under RMA Group Companies. We prioritize the graduating students for job opportunities that have successfully completed standard curriculum from Ford Training and are certified to work at Ford Service Center and other RMA service centers.
