LFC Ford EcoSport Challenge

Vientiane, February 28th, 2021 – Lao Ford City held the a the two-day EcoSport Challenge at Lao ITECC in Vientiane. Running over the weekend, this open day driving event dedicated to the Ford EcoSport, introduced several fun challenges for visitors to participate in. After a driver trainer briefing, drivers could take the EcoSport on a gymkhana course on the open driving arena which included a slalom section.

Drivers also could try their luck at the basketball challenge by nudging a basketball with their EcoSport and dropping it through the hoop. In the cargo load challenge drivers had to fit boxes and containers of all shapes and sizes in their EcoSport in a race against the clock.

The event was carefully designed to be entertaining while offering participants great insight into the capabilities of the Ford EcoSport.

No challenge would be complete without prize winners. Winners from 2nd to 6th   place   won   fuel   cards   ranging   from   2   million   kip   to  200,000   kip.   The   first  prize   winner   received   a  travel   package   to  Luang       Prabang   for  two   persons  including flights and hotel accommodation and an EcoSport for the duration of their stay.
