RMA Automotive Endeavors to Heal the Beach

Laem Chabang, July 12th, 2022 – RMA Automotive organized a Heal the Beach CSR activity to help clean Ao Dong Tang, Sattahip beach. Led by Peter Lawson – Global Manufacturing & Quality Director and Nawin Klinjaroen- Quality Management Manager, 80 employees participated in this afternoon activity.

Also in attendance was Vichan Sookreun – President of Ao Dong Tan community and Jakkapong Kanwasettha – representative of Sattahip Beach Defender Society.

Additionally, RMAA donated cleaning equipment to the local communities including 20 dustpans, 20kg garbage bags, 20 rakes and 20 boxes of cleaning gloves.

The purpose of the beach clean up was to raise awareness in the team about marine pollution, and play a role in reducing garbage and plastic in the ocean. We have released 2 sizes of baby crabs to the ocean, with a total of 12 million zoea, a very small species of baby crabs, and 25 small crabs.
