Next-Gen Ford Launch in Myanmar

Yangon, June 16th, 2023 – Ford Myanmar staged a spectacular launch for the Next Gen Ranger and Everest in Yangon, themed “Conquer What Truly Matters”.

This is the first vehicle launch by Capital Automotive in three years and the was attended by 500 guests made up of Ford customers, eager fans and hot prospects, celebrities and VIP guests and representatives from government ministries, embassies, and international organizations.

Max Talcott – Co-CEO of Capital Automotive, delivered the opening speech and Austin – Marketing Manager of Ford Myanmar delivered a product presentation and highlighted the key features of the Next-Gen Ford vehicles.

To everyone’s surprise the vehicles were driven into the venue and accompanied by an exciting drumming and dance and light show.

There were speeches and toasts, dance performances and DJs, and guest appearances by Myanmar celebrities – model and actor Htoo Aung and actress Sandi Myint Lwin, amongst others.

Deb Lynn – US Embassy Charge d’affaires, Christian Wiedmann – RMA Group Senior Vice President and Managing Director Automotive, Max Talcott – Co-CEO of Capital Automotive Limited and CDSG directors U Soe Tint, U Sein Win, U Than Tun, Sop Tansupasiri – CFO of Capital Automotive Limited, Ma Kyu Kyu Khaing – Ford General Manager and U Yan Paing – Group Chief Commercial Officer shared the stage for toasts and wished the Capital Automotive team well on the launch these exciting new vehicles built by Capital Motors in Myanmar.
