Palms Food and Killiney Kopitiam sign agreement for Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal
After an absence of three years, Killiney Kopitiam (Trading as “_Kedai Killiney Kopi_”), will be back at Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal serving locals and tourists with their signature traditional Singaporean breakfast of Kaya toast, soft boiled eggs, and a cup of hot kopi/teh and other Singaporean favorites including Curry chicken, Laksa, Mee Siam, Mee Rebus, Nasi Lemak and other much missed local dishes. All meals at the Tanah Merah Killiney branch will be HALAL certified. Tanah Merah Terminal serves ferry services to Indonesia and Malaysia.
A Singaporean Heritage Brand since 1919, Killiney Kopitiam is known as Singapore’s oldest existing Hainanese coffeeshop. First started by Hainanese immigrants at 67 Killiney Road Singapore, the brand has grown internationally and now has operations in USA, Australia and around Asia. In addition to providing food and beverages, the Killiney coffee shops also sell a range of gift merchandise and products for home use.
The Kedai Killiney Kopi at Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal will be operated under franchise by Palms Food International Pte Ltd, part of RMA Group Companies. Martin Darby, Director of Palms Food, and long-term Singapore resident expressed “delight” at bringing Killiney back to Tanah Merah and hopefully soon more locations in Singapore.
