RMA Automotive Donates to Underprivileged Children in Pattaya
April 5th, 2018 Pattaya – RMA Automotive’s ADC team based in Laem Chabang ran a well supported donation drive for The Pattaya Orphanage, established in 1974 by the Human Help Network Foundation, Thailand. The orphanage, which runs entirely on donations, houses and educates orphaned, unwanted and neglected children and shields them from a potentially harsh life on the streets of Pattaya.
The ADC division encouraged employees to contribute towards the œUsed But Usable Stationary collection initiative. Staff filled collection bins in the offices with usable stationary such as pens, pencils, notebooks, rulers, and any supplies needed for the children to help with their schooling. Support also came in the form of stationery and cash donations from RMA staff in Bangkok.
Our ADC team made the donation hand over extra special in time for the Songkran Festival by also collecting fans, toys, and water guns so that the children at The Pattaya Orphanage can fully soak up the fun. An additional THB 8,000 cash donation was also handed over to the orphanage.
œI am incredibly honored to have made this initiative a reality and would like to thank RMA Group and ADC team for their countless contributions. Many children at The Pattaya Orphanage have never received any new toys, and in conjunction with the upcoming Songkran Festival, we hope our donation has put a smile on their faces. At RMA Group, we remain committed to community growth and development, and collection drives like the one we just held, help to ensure that those less fortunate receive the support necessary for a better future, stated Stanley Chan, General Manager, Global Product Development, RMA Automotive.
