EFG Myanmar Cleans Up Streets of Yangon
February 10th, 2019 Yangon – Express Food Group Myanmar helped the local community of the Sanchaung Township in Yangon by cleaning the streets surrounding the Dagon Center, where Express Food Group launched its first restaurant back in 2014.
200 staff members from The Pizza Company and Swensen’s participated in the event, making it one of EFG Myanmar’s biggest clean up in Yangon. Celebrity and Brand Ambassador of The Pizza Company, Chit Thu Wai, joined the clean up along with the Yangon City Development Committee Team and Township volunteers.
Express Food Group Myanmar initiated this idea in order to help the citizens of Sanchaung Township keep a clean and orderly neighbourhood. The Pizza Company’s Brand Ambassador Chit Thu Wai joined to show her respect for the environment and her wish for a cleaner, more sustainable Yangon.

Marketing Manager from Express Food Group in Myanmar, Myo Myat Mon Seinn, encourages more companies and corporations in Yangon to give back to local communities. She wishes for a more sustainable community with less pollution and litter in the streets of Yangon.
