Labor Day is EFG Day

May 1st, 2022 – EFG held its 9th annual EFG’s day in Cambodia and Myanmar which takes place every year on Labour Day. It’s the day management and office staff don aprons and uniforms to spend a day in one of the EFG stores.

In Cambodia, over 60 managers and office staff descended on various branches of The Pizza Company, Krispy Kreme, Swensen’s, The Coffee Club, Dairy Queen, and Hungry Kitchen to take orders, prepare meals and service customers. EFG Day presents an opportunity for all EFG employees connect in the workplace and develop stronger spirit of teamwork and collaboration.

Tep Virak, General Manager of EFG Cambodia stated œthis is a great opportunity for EFG head office staff to experience the daily chores and challenges of front-liners serving our customers. This is a reflection of teamwork and collaboration, learning and sharing. EFG Myanmar were also joined by RMA Myanmar staff from various business units including RMAS (Profit & Supporting Team), AVIS, and ATC. RMA and EFG employees got together in The Pizza Company and Swensen’s branch. The team got busy as store operation staff, making pizzas and pastas and a special limited range of cupcakes.
