Lao Ford City and Austcham Lao Holds First Ever Ford Austcham Charity Golf Day

December 4^th 2017, Vientiane – Lao Ford City proudly teamed up with Austcham Lao to hold the first ever Ford Austcham Charity Golf Day on 24^th November 2017 at the Long Thanh Golf Club in Vientiane, raising money for the Lao Disabled Women’s Development Centre.

Ford has always been strongly committed to supporting local communities with the opportunity to advance in terms of human welfare, education and self-sustainability. Through the Ford Austcham Charity Golf Day, over $3,400 was raised to support the Lao Disabled Women’s Development Centre, a non-profit organization run by Lao women with disabilities giving other disabled women across the country access to education and employment opportunities.

Over 70 golfers from businesses, government and NGOs around the country joined together to compete in the Ford Austcham Charity Golf Day. The event itself brought about an exciting spirit of camaraderie over supporting a meaningful cause. It was enhanced by the generous sponsorship from a variety of Austcham Lao member organizations and service providers, including Ford.

Mr. Simon Hirst, CEO of RMA Lao, along with Mme. Chahnpheng Sivila, Founder and Director of the LDWDC presented the first prize trophy to Mr. Heuangsavanh Sengkamyong.
